The resident clinical experience includes protected didactic time on Wednesday afternoons which, features gynecologic and obstetric simulation, research preparation and teaching, ethics, residents as teachers sessions, quality improvement and patient safety, and many other topics. Prior to the annual residency training in-service exam, there is a review course.

Other regularly scheduled clinical teaching venues include the following:

We supplement protected didactics with e-learning using mobile applications. Finally, our residents are given time to prepare for and take the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery at the end of their PGY-2 year.
