Residents spend the majority of their time in the Texas Medical Center, the world’s largest medical center. The two main teaching sites are Ben Taub Hospital, and the Pavilion For Women. Both are high volume, high patient acuity sites. After four years of training, our residents leave confident they are well-prepared to deal with almost every type of obstetrical and gynecological case that they may encounter.
Exposure to these diverse facilities and their physicians allow our residents to learn cutting edge techniques in all aspects of medicine related to women’s health.
During the four-year training program, residents rotate through our affiliated hospitals and the various public and private clinics associated with these institutions.
