The vagina, or birth canal, is the tube that goes from the uterus to the outside of the body. Vaginal cancer occurs when abnormal cells grow out of control in the vagina. We provide patients with personalized treatment plans and care for vaginal cancers and pre-cancers (dysplasia).
There’s Every Reason to Choose the Duncan Cancer Center
Our gynecologic oncologists are skilled in various surgical techniques, including robotic-assisted surgery and other minimally invasive procedures, to give patients options for their surgical treatment.
Patients have access to clinical trials, including immunotherapy, which offers innovative treatment options.
By injecting a dye during surgery which highlights representative lymph nodes, patients can avoid a full lymph node dissection and decrease their risk of lower extremity swelling (lymphedema) after surgery.
