What You Need to Know About Penile Cancer

Content

Penile cancer is relatively rare. Carcinoma of the penis often remains localized for prolonged periods, and if metastasis occurs it usually follows a pattern moving first to the groin nodes and then to the pelvic lymph nodes. This progression permits surgical cure of most patients with penile cancers and many with metastasis to the nodes in the groin.
