Baylor College of Medicine is committed to a safe and supportive learning and working environment for its learners, faculty and staff. College policy prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, age, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, veteran status, disability or genetic information. Harassment based on any of these classifications is a form of discrimination and also violates College policy (02.2.25, 02.2.26) and will not be tolerated. In some circumstances, such discriminatory harassment also may violate federal, state or local law. BCM is subject to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, 20 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq., and its implementing regulations, 38 C.F.R. Part 106.

If you believe that you have experienced or observed discrimination or harassment based on gender, gender identity or expression, or sexual orientation, please contact the College’s Title IX Coordinator. The Title IX Coordinator is the official designated by BCM to coordinate the College's efforts to comply with its obligations regarding sex-based discrimination.
