This page contains very important information and forms that need to be completed and returned so that your start with the Master's Program in Physician Assistant Studies in the School of Health Professions at Baylor College of Medicine will be a success.
In order to ensure that incoming students have a grasp of medical terminology, we administer a multiple-choice exam that tests knowledge of basic medical terminology. It is important that you are familiar with medical language so that you can follow the lectures without getting confused over the terminology used. If you took a medical terminology course, you should be able to pass the exam. If you did not take a course, please prepare for the exam using any resource(s) you like. We do not recommend a specific book. The exam will be administered at PA Orientation Tuesday, June 20, 2023. You will need to score 70 percent to pass.
