The STEM Education Interest Group is comprised of graduate students and post-docs who are interested in exploring the "science of teaching science." We meet monthly where one member presents a selected article that specifically focuses on evidence-based teaching practices in undergraduate STEM education. We then discuss these teaching practices (in both the context of the article and our own previous experiences) and determine if/how we'd incorporate these practices into our own classes.
