Cost of living Estimates

Cost of living are estimates of expenses that you will incur to go to school that you will not pay directly to Baylor College of Medicine. These costs you may have already budgeted, such as housing expenses, food, and transportation. The Student Financial Aid Office will provide you with an estimate of these costs based on sample data derived from the Houston area. We will use both the Cost of Living index and the number of months you will be enrolled at Baylor. Below is the chart we will use to estimate your expenses.

Cost of Attendance for the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences

The Direct Expenses you pay the college, combined with the estimates of what it will cost you to live while you study are combined to make up the Cost of Attendance. That cost of attendance is the maximum amount you will be able to receive in financial aid while you are studying at Baylor College of Medicine. Please note, if you are receiving a stipend you will not pay tuition and fees, but we will include the tuition and fees as well as the stipend recieved when determining your maximum amount of financial aid.
