About the Program

Content

Clinical precepting and participating in research are a key component of medical education. Clinical precepting, in which a practicing physician volunteers to have a medical student observe their practice, offers the opportunity for the exploration of interests, mentorship, knowledge and skill-building, and professional growth. Research mentorship similarly provides such benefits and allows students to contribute to the medical literature under the direct supervision of a faculty research mentor.
