The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs is committed to supporting postdoctoral associates and fellows in bringing creativity to biomedical research. The OPA supports postdocs in developing non-academic skills as they pursue their desired career path.

In addition, core benefits are provided to eligible Baylor employees at no costs. Support for Interpersonal and Personal Challenges

Baylor College of Medicine is committed to supporting postdoctoral researchers throughout their training. We offer support through various initiatives to help you successfully manage interpersonal and personal challenges that may arise during your training. These include the Ombuds Office, which provides a confidential, informal, and neutral place to discuss concerns, resolve disputes, manage, conflicts and increase skills regarding communication. The Employee Assistance Program (Baylor login required) is available to help with mental health and wellness counseling and the BCM BeWell Program (Baylor login required) provides access to numerous health and wellness services.
