Osmosis.org has a library of over 2,100 videos covering pathology, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical practice, complete with questions, flashcards and notes.

How faculty can use Osmosis
Faculty use a variety of Osmosis tools and resources to supplement their lectures. (Some use Osmosis as a means to move toward blended learning or problem-based learning). Here are some of the most popular ways that faculty have utilized the platform:

• Create a custom Playlist for your students which can contain your syllabus, learning objectives, or any list of topics. Download the related Job Aid. 
• Control video playback with your keyboard.
• Share Osmosis Videos via URL before, during, or after class. For example, videos can be added to your LMS, embedded in a lecture slide, or shared via email to supplement what’s taught in class. Videos can be found in the Osmosis library.

Access Analytics for Playlists and Student Performance Data

From Osmosis

In this example we’ll be embedding a PowerPoint file into a Blackboard module, but the same steps could be used to embed a Word document or an Excel file.

1. Go to any video page and click the "Share" icon on the top of any video. [view screenshot]
2. Click on the </> Embed option
3. Copy the text in the Embed Code section. [view screenshot]
4. Select any options (Start at 0:15 or Autoplay) and then click Copy code and close.

Embedding the File/Video in a Blackboard course

1. Go to your Blackboard course and enter the content area and/or folder where you want the file to reside (e.g., Course Documents).
2. If you want the file to appear immediately in front of users, add an ITEM. 
3. If you want the file to appear on a blank page, add a PAGE.
4. Once the item or page opens, give it a name.
5. Next click on the Source code button on the toolbar. [view screenshot]
6. Paste the embed code from the instructions above and click Save to close the pop-up. [view screenshot]
7. Click SUBMIT to save.
