This study is enrolling patients who present to the Ben Taub Emergency Department with signs or symptoms of a heart attack.
The goal of the study is to investigate the diagnostic test called Elecsys® Troponin T Gen 6. The study is named PERFORM-TSIX. This test may help doctors diagnose heart attacks faster and more accurately than they can today.
